Sat-Navs are incredibly useful things… most of the time.

Yesterday I went to Leeds. I had never been there before, so I borrowed a Sat-Nav from my friend. He set it all up for me with the address that I wanted and showed me the basic controls. It was the first time that I’d used one, but I was reasonably confident that I would be okay.

It seems almost as if technology is going full circle sometimes. I can remember, as a child, the huge amount of excitement when there was a film shown on television in 3D. Everyone was bowled over by just how realistic everything became if you sat and watched a specially filmed programme whilst wearing cardboard glasses.

There were also a couple of movies that I went to see that were in 3D. The one that sticks in my mind was, ‘Jaws: (more…)
