You may have heard about toning belts from those late night infomercials but not all of them do what they claim. There is one however that seem to be gaining in popularity and that is the Flex Belt Abdominal Toning Belt. This belt is said to be the most advanced around and a devise that is very effective in toning the abdominal muscles. With the Flex Belt users are able to exercise their abdominals whenever they want and wherever they want. The belt will do all the work.

In one clinical trial every participant showed a strengthening, toning, and flattening of their stomach from using the Flex Belt.

The Flex Belt uses the latest technology and is currently the only Electric Muscle Stimulation belt around that has been given the green light by the Food and Drug Administration. It has been categorized as a device that can be sold directly to the consumer.

The belt has intensity levels ranging from 1-100 and for each level of intensity once you begin to feel stronger you can go to the next higher level. If you should use the product at the highest intensity chances are your stomach muscles will feel sore the next day.

Breathable and lightweight the Flex Belt comes with a built in training programs for users to take advantage of. It is used according to instructions users will likely get the benefits they are looking for.

One of the good things about this belt is that it takes the stress out of exercising especially the abdominal muscles. This helps to make it appealing to the masses who do not want to have to go to the gym and lift weights and exercise.

The Flex Belt is priced at just under $200 and at this price you will be advised to give it a try and see what the outcome is.

One last thing before I go, I have finally decided to go and book the appointment to get that tattoo that I had gotten removed. It has been annoying me for a really long time now, it would seem I have grown out of that whole adolescent stage now. However, I was looking on the page for laser tattoo removal stockport and I began to doubt if it will look better afterwards because there is loads of green in it! What do you guys think is more shoddy, a bird or a faint outline of one?

Tough start to the day. I meet my client and her son who was recently expelled from school. They’ve had an argument and she is threatening to have him put in care. I know this is just anger and she doesn’t mean it. We visit his new school, the person we meet with seems clinically depressed. Not a good start, but it’s only a temporary measure. I tell the boy if he makes another mistake, he’ll have me to deal with. I get a smile and a promise not to do anything stupid.

I go to the office and speak with another woman who has been in court this week (she is the victim, not the perpetrator) but the case has collapsed because the police and the crown prosecution service didn’t do their jobs properly. She is exhausted and now has to wait months for the trial to be listed again. I feel for her and wish there was something I could do, but I know there isn’t.

After my working day finishes, I head into town and meet a friend. We eat in a Hare Krishna restaurant and the food is good. Spinach rolls and salad. The Krishna’s look fantastic in their gold face paint.

After that over a couple of cups of tea, served by a waitress with an attitude problem, we discuss our lives, why we do the things we do. Why we’ve packed in jobs and moved cities more times than most people have had hot dinners, why a lot of people settle for things that are a long way short of their potential. Why? Is it fear that holds them back? We feel fear too, but we never let it stop us doing anything. Yet I don’t feel particularly brave.

We head to our respective homes and I text my friend saying that I love our conversations. I receive a reply that I am like a breath of fresh air. I’m almost moved to tears and fall into my luxury bedding and a dreamless sleep.

Dear diary, I do not know why I write these silly letters: nobody but me ever reads them, and sometimes I feel as though you are my only friend. Never the less, I shall record now what happened at the farm today. My fifteenth Monday in the real world after graduating…

Back home, as I feel I must write, to keep the memory alive, the farm is the opposite of the farm here: there is a nice farm boy who can add and subtract, here there is a farm boy who says ‘innit’ a lot—I have no idea what this means—and whose face resembles some animal hide dragged free of the combine harvester.

Also, back home we have equipment—our farm, our proper farm. Here there is only relics of old and things which must be operated by hand and elbow grease. It is truly disturbing. Back home everything is computer controlled, but here the cows must be milked by hand! Really quite disgusting.

A problem arose today: they asked me to milk two cows by hand (I mean lets be honest, I may as well go out an apply for permanent vet jobs now). The grim farm boy knelt down and pulled away on both simultaneously, a smile on his face, and then he asked me to do the same. I told him in no uncertain terms I would not do this. He then looked me up and down and said that women didn’t usually wear frocks on farms. I did not know how to react to this, but after some time of deliberation decided to tell him the truth and teach him how a proper farm should be: I told him that every female member of our five hundred acre farm had always worn a frock to work, like in the olden days when farming was a charming thing to do—almost romantic. He did not understand this, spouting all kinds of rubbish about how impractical it is and how the garment can get caught in farming equipment. What did he suggest I do? Whip my frock off there and then? He should be so lucky!

If you were a billionaire, would you spend a ludicrous amount of money on a piece of art? Let’s face it, this portrait by Picasso is not exactly an amazingly good picture, is it? You can find this sort of thing in just about any art gallery in the country; with something like this it is merely the name you are bidding on.

I wonder what Pablo himself would have to say about it. He’d probably have a damn good belly-laugh over the amount it went for. The fact that it has rarely been seen before does not automatically make it anything particularly special. It’s the same principle as someone discovering a ‘never before heard’ recording of Jimi Hendrix blowing his nose. Someone out there would be quite willing to spend a small fortune just to have it in their collection.

It’s a hard lesson for an artist to learn, isn’t it? Most painters will struggle to sell their work throughout their career (and only get a pittance if they ever do), but as soon as they are in the ground it will go for millions! Mind you, I don’t think Picasso struggled very much; he achieved quite a lot during his working life. I am thinking more about other great painters.

Look at poor Vincent van Gogh, he only managed to sell two paintings in his entire life and now they go for a crazy amount of money. What a bummer. At one time, Vince’s ‘Sunflowers’ became the most valuable painting in the world. I think they were sold for around £18m. Is that even ethical? How can anyone justify spending that amount on one picture? Think of all the good you could do in the world with that much money.

It really is a crazy world. Or rather, the world is fine and its inhabitants are nuts.

You all know, I sometimes look into online businesses as a matter of interest and I have lately found a business that does online human resource software. I am actually really considering buying some shares in it. It just seems like such a simple idea that can save a lot of people a lot of money…

OK, heart breaks are often equated with teenage trivial issues. But this is where a lot of people are wrong. The pain of a heart break can only be understood by those who have actually gone through it or are going through it. At that point, the magnitude of it cannot be described as triviality.

I was one of those skeptics, who always dismissed off heart breaks as one of those silly things. Through out school and college life, my advice to friends going through break ups would be "There are many fish in the sea". This was probably because I had never been through a similar situation myself. We learn, only when we experience. There can be no greater teacher than experience.

It was only when I found myself in such a situation, at the ripe old age of 27 (pardon me here, but I always thought heartaches were childish stuff, so 27 is ripe old for that) that I understood how truly devastating a heart break can actually be. Yes, I had my heart broken…and all the silly advices that I would give to my friends in teenage years felt like mockery. I could finally comprehend the depth of this one word. It was literally as if my life felt as if it was over. There was a real physical pain in my heart. yes, I swear I could literally feel my heart pain. I would get up in the morning and think why I had woken up. All day, I would just sit and stare in air, lost in my own thoughts. I became a complete wreck. My friends couldn’t recognize me. This depression and emotional upheaval went on for one whole year.

I never thought I could ever get out of it. It was the pits. But everyone told me that I would eventually come out of it, because time is the greatest healer. I never really did believe this.

But now, with another year going by I am happy to say that I am finally out of that phase. Yes, it took a lot of counseling, pep talks, enrolling in activities etc to get over that. But what I want to say to all the people, nursing a broken heart, is that I can totally relate to you and your pain. I know what you are going through. But you too, like me, will get over it one day however unbelievable it sounds. This is what my experience has taught me. You too, will leave this tough phase behind. It is just a matter of time. Have faith!
And finally before I go, a bit of exciting news for you all, I have decided it was about time to just get it over with and book the appointment to get that tattoo that I had gotten when I was a teenager removed. It has been annoying me for far too long, evidently I have grown out of that whole defiant stage now. However, I was looking on the page for laser tattoo removal brentwood and I don’t actually know if it will look better afterwards, some of the photos are a little bit questionable! What do you guys think is more shotty, a chinese symbol or a faint outline of one

Sat-Navs are incredibly useful things… most of the time.

Yesterday I went to Leeds. I had never been there before, so I borrowed a Sat-Nav from my friend. He set it all up for me with the address that I wanted and showed me the basic controls. It was the first time that I’d used one, but I was reasonably confident that I would be okay.

I set off on my journey and everything was going fine. Every now and then, a voice similar to that of Roger Moore in ‘The Saint’ would tell me which way to go.

But then I got to Leeds. Just as I stopped at the first complicated-looking junction in the city, the Sat-Nav decided to update itself. It was only inactive for a few seconds, but that was long enough for me to take two wrong turns. After that it became a nightmare. Every time that I went wrong it would take a moment to re-map my route. And every time it did this… I took another wrong turn.

I don’t quite know how, but I finally reached my destination. On the way back, I decided, I would try and drive ever slower around the city streets.

That was a good idea except I ended up having to escape from Leeds city centre without the Sat-Nav’s help. The problem was that I had left the car in an underground car park and there was no satellite signal at all!

By the time that I was back on the outskirts of Leeds, Simon Templar’s suave voice had returned. He guided me all the way back home, except that I went against his advice half a mile from my house. With Simon urging me to, ‘Turn around. Turn around’, I got out of the car and walked to a shop that sold road atlases.

Once bitten…

It seems almost as if technology is going full circle sometimes. I can remember, as a child, the huge amount of excitement when there was a film shown on television in 3D. Everyone was bowled over by just how realistic everything became if you sat and watched a specially filmed programme whilst wearing cardboard glasses.

There were also a couple of movies that I went to see that were in 3D. The one that sticks in my mind was, ‘Jaws: The Revenge’; not because it blew me away, but because it was so crap.

And now, 3D looks as though it is going to be the next big thing for television. We have already had several films released in the format and computer games are being designed in the same way. But gone are the days of red and green glasses made from bendy card; the new wave of eyewear looks more like a pair of Ray-Bans.

I suppose the good thing about it all is that it will only be the transmissions that are going to change to begin with. It will not be necessary to go out and buy a special TV to view your programmes in 3D… yet. But when it does get to that point you can be sure that upgrading to a 3D set is not going to be cheap!

It makes you wonder just how far things are going to go with technology, doesn’t it? I wonder if it will ever reach a point when wearing glasses is not necessary to achieve the 3D effect? That will be the ultimate breakthrough I suppose. But the thought of seeing everything in HD 3D with high-tech sound is a little bit scary. After a while, we may just begin to forget what is or isn’t actually real…

And lastly, you guys should all really check out this Enigin blog, it has some really innovative ideas, I am really liking them right now.

I was wondering today why it is that we have to sleep. You have maybe never thought about it before or perhaps you think it is just a common sense case of us having to ‘recharge our batteries’. But if it is solely for purposes of rejuvenation then why does it need to take such a long time? I can fully charge my mobile phone or laptop within a couple of hours yet we take a lot, lot longer…

Have you ever realised that we spend a third of our live unconscious? When you get to the age of thirty this means that you have spent time ten years of it being asleep! If you find that a depressing thought then try this one for size; by the time you reach sixty you will have been sleeping for twenty years! I love to go to sleep but it seems like a bit of a waste somehow, doesn’t it?

Think of all the things you could do in this space of time. An eighteen year old could have done six years of his schooling in the time that he had spent asleep! When you get to old age the amount of time you had slept could have been spent in a well-paid job that had earned you a really good pension. It’s all a bit strange if you think about it.

And then there is the business of dreams; do they actually serve any purpose? Some people think they have ‘meanings’ and spend a lot of time and money finding out what they are. Or are dreams just a way of your brain ridding itself of unnecessary information in the subconscious? Perhaps a dream is the equivalent of the human brain having a poo.

It makes you wonder what it’s all about…

And lastly, in my humble opinion all of those who are into this thought of a more planet friendly lifestyle really need to look at this. This Enigin Energy Savings blog has some really amazing ideas for industries who are concerned about thier environmental impact, I am really digging them right now.

I wonder why it is that we all place so much importance on buying our own house?

In other European countries most of the population just rent an apartment but in England we seem intent on owning our house, flat or bungalow. I’m not sure why this is really. If we decide that we want to actually buy our home then it automatically creates several problems. There is the constant worry of whether or not we are going to keep up with our mortgage payments and any repairs that need to be done are suddenly our responsibility.2

If you have a decent landlord (or local authority) then they will always ensure that your property is kept in good order. Surely this is better than having to fork out for things yourself? If we are talking about replacing a broken electrical socket then it is not a big deal, but what about when your immersion heater packs up or the roof needs retiling?

Why are we prepared to take on all of this extra hassle just so that we can say; ‘This is my house and it’s all bought and paid for’? By the time that most people have finished paying for their home they are not that far from retirement! Is it all worth it?

When you have paid for your home the only two advantages I can see, are that you have no more rent to pay and you are able to leave your property to your children (if you have any). So what? You will soon become accustomed to being a little bit better off and it won’t make that much difference. If your children inherit the property, then what are they going to do with it? They have probably got their own set of ambitions and they will end up putting it back on the market…
